“Because of COVID-19, we’re all in this season where we are longing to be together again, like we could before,” says Wayne. Both brothers, twins, Wayne and Nelson Braxton, agree that the timing of this release could not be more prefect.
Nelson reflects, “This song reminds us of that joyful feeling of reunion, like when I get to see my family after being on the road, or like a soldier returning home from abroad.”
“The song starts broken down. There’s this feeling of expectation, like something good is about to happen,” Wayne adds. “Then this wonderful hook comes in that really lifts your spirits, like you just received a big bear hug from your uncle!”
